This Spanish colonial-style lodge was built in 2000. Our luxurious lodge has private suites that are each furnished with two twin sized beds, a fireplace, heating system, powder room and a private bathroom.

Each room is decorated with selections from our eclectic collection of hunting and fishing scenes. An open hearth fireplace heat the outdoor dining area and keep guests warm during the mild winter months.

In 2010, Los Chanares underwent an expansion bringing number of private suites to 9. The new suites are double occupancy with private bathrooms. Consequently we developed our best special promotion for large groups. Rent the private lodge for $8,800 per day in the high season and $5,500 per day in the low season. In other words a group of 18 will pay $8,800 per day for the entire group or $489 per person per day. This is significantly less than the $790 per day rate.

In 2017, Los Chanares underwent a major "face-lift". We connected the living and dining areas and added a beautiful wine bar where guests can enjoy our extensive selection of fine Argentina wines. We redecorated all the living areas to make you feel comfortable and right at home after a fun day in the field. We understand these dove hunting trips are one of the few moments of the year where you can relax. With this "face-lift", we ensure that the setting is just right for you!

During summer afternoons, guests can cool off in our large refreshing swimming pool and enjoy or Jacuzzi. There is also a large open area with hammocks where guests can relax outdoors instead of in their rooms.

After every afternoon shoot, guests are treated to an evening cocktail and hors d’oeuvres in the lodge. It’s a time to reflect on the day by the impressive Texan fire pit or around the swimming pool. Guests really enjoy this time in the lodge to bond with family and new friends.

170 grams of butter
170 grams of bitter chocolate
3 eggs
3 yolks
60 grams of sugar
50 grams of flour

Melt the butter and chocolate over hot water by placing the bowl over a pot of boiling water. The indirect heat keeps the chocolate from burning.

Mix the eggs, yolks and sugar well until they form a white mixture. Mix in the chocolate and butter followed by the flour.

Separate the mixture into small individually buttered receptacles. Bake at high temperature for 4 or 5 minutes. Do not overcook or the chocolate will not be soft inside.

4 medium sized onions
3 carrots
1 sweet red pepper
1 sweet green pepper
1 glass white wine
1 glass milk

300 grams butter

Chop the vegetables finely and lightly brown over medium heat for approximately 15 minutes. Add the wine, doves, milk and herbs and cook for about 25 minutes. Add salt, pepper and crushed garlic.

Chop and process the mixture to reach the desired consistency, and then add the butter and cream. Process again and pour the mixture into a mould. Let stand for at least 12 hours - 48 hours is recommended.
